Aaron – Husband of Rivka; father of Caleb.

Agrippi I ( Herod Agrippi I) – ruled as King of Israel (and some environs), 794-797 AUC (41-44 AD). Herod the Great’s grandson.

Amos – Husband of daughter, Anne.

Annas – High Priest 748-758 AUC (6BC-5AD) Caiaphas’ father-in-law. Participated in the conspiracy to murder Yeshua.

Archelaus (aka Herod Archelaus) – Ruled as Ethnarch of Judaea, Samaria, and Idumea 750-759 AUC (4BC-6AD). Deposed by Rome. Herod the Great’s son; brother of Antipatros and Phillippi.

Antipatros (aka Herod Antipas) – Tetrarch of Galilee and Perea. Herod the Great’s son; brother of Archelaus and Phillippi. Resided at Tiberian on Lake of Gennesaret. Beheaded John the Baptizer. Was in Yerushalayim for Pesach at the time of Yeshua’s trial and crucifixion. Deposed in 792 AUC (39 AD).

Caiaphas, Yosef (aka Caiphas) – High priest at Yerushalayim 771-789 AUC (18-36 AD). Major participant in the conspiracy and execution of Yeshua. Son-in-law of high priest Annas.

Caleb – Friend of Yeshua; son of Rivka and Aaron.

Herod (“the Great”) – Born 692 – died 750 AUC (62-4 BC) Appointed King of the Jews in 715 AUC (39 BC). Began restoration of the Temple in 735 AUC (19 BC); completed in 815 AUC (62 AD). Developed major port of Caesarea. At Bayt Lahm slaughtered all boys two years and younger in 748 AUC (6 BC).
Three of his children were Archelaus, Antipatros and Philippi. Grandson was Herod Agrippa I.

John the Baptizer – Born in 747 AUC, 3755 Jewish (7 BC) during the month of
Cheshvan in the village of Ain Karim (aka En Karem), the district of Judaea. Parents were Elizabeth, Miryam’s cousin, and Zechariah (aka Zachary), a former Temple priest of the order of Abijah. John was six months older than Yeshua. For three years, from age 29 to 32, he preached the coming of the Moshiach. Executed by Herod Antipatros at Machaerus in 779 AUC.

Lebbaeus (aka Jude-Thaddeus) – Special friend of Yeshua and Miryam.

Gabhri’el (aka Gavriel / Gabriel) – Archangel who brought YHVH’s message to Miryam.

Isaias (aka Isaiah) – His prophecies foretold the coming of the Moshiach.

Mark (aka Mark Josus, Mark John) – Disciple and companion of Simon bar Jonah; friend of Jacob. (Jews use the name Mark. The Greek translation of the name is John.)

Miryam of Magdala (aka Tarichaea) – Friend and disciple of Yeshua and his mother, Miryam. Leader in early apostleship, teaching of the life and testimony of the resurrected Yeshua.

Moshe (aka Moses) – Chosen by YHVH to lead his enslaved people out of Egypt.

Philippi (aka Philip) – Tetrarch of Trachonitis and Iturea 750-788 AUC (4 BC-34 AD); Son of Herod, brother of Archelaus and Antipatros.

Pontius Pilate – Roman Procurator (prefect/governor) of Judaea; 779-789 AUC (26-36 AD). Resided in Yerushalayim. Removed from office; exiled to Gaul.

Rivka – Friend of Miryam. Wife of Aaron; mother of Caleb.

Sarai (aka Sarah) – Mother of Isaac, wife of Abram (aka Abraham).

Saul – Missionary of the Word to the Goiim.

Shamul – Rabbi who befriended Family upon arrival at Pelusium in Egypt.

Simon bar Jonah – Born in Bethsaida, brother of Andrew; Yeshua also called him Cephas, an Aramaic surname signifying Rock or Peter; died 817 AUC (64 AD).

Stephan – First martyr of record proclaiming the teachings of Yeshua. Stoned to death at Yerushalayim in reaction to his criticism of Jews for traditional resistance to any revelations of God’s wishes.
